What I want to accomplish with my art is showcase black stories and issues through the medium of sequential art. Using comics as a medium and drawing digitally, I hope to reach as many people that could benefit from seeing their struggles reflected in comics as possible. The reason for this is I want to make my art as accessible as possible and I want people who usually wouldn’t engage with his art to experience it for themselves. In order to properly explore topics such as governmental accountability, mental health, and depression I feel the need to research and write about them in depth and in order for that writing to breach the forefront of the work, working with comics is essential for what I'm trying to achieve.
